The open-air photo gallery on Kalemegdan will begin hosting a new exhibition of photographs, this time introducing visitors to the charms of Poland.
The new exhibition, set along a walkway with views across the Sava and New Belgrade, will be opened by the Polish ambassador in Belgrade and is called “Here’s Poland” (Evo Poljske). As with previous exhibitions that presented various countries (including China, Brazil and others), this collection will cover Polish culture, history and natural beauty.
The exhibition aims to introduce visitors to the best things Poland has to offer and is hoped to encourage people to visit Poland. We can expect, therefore, that the photographs will be enticing and picturesque. According representatives of the company that oversees the Kalemegdan park, Beogradska tvrđava, the subjects covered will include, “historical monuments, grand castles, noblemen’s palaces, sacred Christian sites, Poland’s artistic heritage, sights of great natural beauty and everything modern Poland has to offer”.
Definitely check this exhibition out while you’re out on an evening stroll through the park.
