Biography:
Belgrade has always been my passion. For a person born and raised here it partly comes as a natural thing, but I have
also strived all my life (though always with pleasure) to bring this habitual attraction to a higher level.
Finishing
history with a focus on Belgrade’s past gave me the perspective of knowing what this city once was and what chances it
missed along the way. Traveling as much as my obligations permit me I compared Belgrade with metropolises of similar size
and importance. Working in tourism keeps me discovering, everyday, the practical side of Belgrade and brings a new angle
every time I speak with our guests. Finally, writing for Living in Belgrade permits me to bring
all of these things together, a challenging yet fulfilling task.
In my articles I try to bring you interesting news which affect all of us who live and visit Belgrade. I am proud to present to you the people, places and institutions that make this city a great place and our lives nicer. On the other hand I won’t hesitate to write about negative things that keep us all down. I would like to think of my writing here as a small contribution to raising the awareness that together – no matter if you’re a tourist, an ex-pat or a resident - we can make this city a better place. I hope you will enjoy reading my texts as much as I enjoy writing them!
